FROM CHAOS TO COVENANT
Vilnius born Litvak artist Yehoshua Kovarsky (1907-1967) lived in France, Israel and the USA. In the form of his paintings, encompassing biblical stories, antique and Scandinavian myths, Africa and Mexican legends, Kovarsky symbolically returns to his birth-place.
Relatives of the artist David Finkelstein and Sandra Ben-Artzi, having donated the art-collection to the museum, will be attending the opening ceremony together with their family from California.
