Solemnity of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross - Krizevac
Here, in 1934, the people of the village of Medjugorje erected an eight-meter high concrete cross in commemoration of the 1900th anniversary of Jesus' death. the cross is visited by thousands and is known throughout the world.
Every year since 1934, on the first Sunday after the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, a holy Mass is celebrated on Krizevac. Krizevac is a hill of peace and reconciliation. Join the villagers in a beautiful Mass celebration,lead by Father Slavko.
