Paganini Moscow International Violin Competition 2010

The Final Concert of the laureates and the jury members of the Sixth Competition

 

It is intended by the Investment Program Foundation, the organizer of the Paganini Moscow International Violin Competition, that it be a public annual event dedicated to Niccolo Paganini.

The First Competition was held in 2003. The Second Paganini Moscow International Violin Competition was successfully held at the end of 2004.
In 2005, the Foundation held the Third Paganini Moscow International Violin Competition.
In 2006 among the participants of the Fourth Competition were 50 violinists from 20 countries: Armenia, Brazil, Czech, China, Cyprus, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Japan, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, South Korea, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, USA and Uzbekistan.
In 2007 The Direction of the competition made a decision to hold Paganini Moscow International violin Competition once every three years and also to hold the concert of laureates, confined to the anniversary of Niccolo Paganini’s day of birth every year.
Just so, on October 27 in 2008 in Grand Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory took place the first concert from conformable series of concerts.

The Sixth Competition will take place on October 2010 in Moscow. Applications for the participation are assumed to consideration. Members of the Sixth Paganini Moscow International Violin Competition's Jury were Elmar Oliveira (USA), Vladimir Landsman (Canada), Roberto Benzi (France), Nachum Erlich (Israel), Boris Belkin (Belgium), Alexander Rudin (Russia), Mayumi Fujikawa (Japan), Zoran Dimitrovski (Macedonia).
