International Student's Folk Festival 2010

28th August - 5th September 2010


 

The Festiwal shall take place in Katowice, Sosnowiec, Cieszyn, Chorzów, Kraków, Siemianowice Śląskie . The groups shall arrive according to the schedule given by the Organizers. Students and youths groups (18-30 years old) can participate in the Festiwal; child groups are excluded. The folklore groups shall present artistically prepared programmes based on folklore of region or country of the groups origin. Presented costumes, songs and dances should be rooted in authentic folklore. Live music only. The groups may consist of maximum 35 people, including management. Drivers of the groups buses, maximum 2 people, are not included in the above-mentioned number. The Festival is organized as a review. The Festival is a member of Polish Section of C.I.O.F.F.

Departure to Cracow - Cepeliada


28th August, Monday
11.00 - Press conference - Silesian University
15.00 - presentation of ensambles on the city square in Cieszynie
18.00 - Opening Concert theater in Cieszynie


1st September, Tuesday
15.00 - Promenade on Wolności Street in Chorzow

2nd September, Wednesday
19.00 - concert "Music of the World"


3rd September, Thursday
Promenade and open-air koncert In Katowice , Mariacka Street

4th September, Friday
10.00-13.00 Workshops with three bands CHCK
18.30 - Ceremonial concert - CHCK

5th September, Saturday
15.00 - Open-air concert - Łaziska
